When I was a new Christian I signed up at my Church to fast and pray, there was a 24 hour prayer chain and I was to pray at 3 am. One particular morning I did not awake at my appointed time to pray.

Shortly after 3 am my doorbell started ringing , almost softly and at timed intervals it seemed, no one in the house but me was awakened.

I slipped quietly down the stairs and peeked out the window, we lived in the country and had a long driveway lit with a dusk to dawn light.

I did not see a car and thought it strange that someone would come  to the back door in the dark instead of using the front door.

I waited and soon I saw a very tall man wearing what appeared to be a long overcoat and he appeared to have white gloves on. He just faded away as he walked out the driveway.

I started praying and prayed for my dear aunt who was in hospital very ill.
After my prayer time I returned to bed.

The following night I called my aunt, I told her about the incident and that I had prayed for her. She told me that approximately at the same time she had seen the death angel in her room standing at the door.

I told several friends about the man waking me to pray and three of them said they had a witness in their spirit that an angel had awakened me to pray for my aunt.

I believe it was an angel and I am left wondering what would have happened if I had answered the door.

I have a short story about my faith in Jesus and using the name of Jesus.

After reading Kenneth Copeland books and watching his videos I was built up in faith and have had no fear because wherever I go I have the blood of Jesus covering me and every knee must bow at the name of Jesus.
So. ....I was biking one day in the country and out of nowhere came this big dog with teeth bared and barking and running towards me, I am not afraid of dogs but this one startled me, I shouted " Go, in the name of Jesus " and you could almost hear the brakes squealing as that dog came to an abrupt halt! I still find it amusing.
